Noise Fundamentals and Techniques for Minimizing EMI Problems
Noise problems can degrade the performance of embedded systems, and in some cases can even cause unreliable operation or even system failure. This course explains the fundamentals of noise in embedded systems, then shows how noise reduction techniques can be applied to system architectures, board layouts and the design of LSI devices. The presentation also describes features of microcontrollers that aid the design of embedded systems that generate low levels of noise and are exceptionally tolerant of noise from external sources; i.e., MCUs that have good EMI and EMS characteristics. |
