USB for Embedded Systems, Viewed from the Host Side

Host-side USB development can be extremely challenging, even for the most experienced embedded engineer. Windows® programming, drivers, graphical interface requirements, and other Windows-related issues can be complex. This session breaks down the barriers to Windows USB development by showing the components that are needed when designing a USB-enabling system from the host point of view. Examples show how to connect an embedded system to USB devices, as well as how to implement the interface between the USB bus and a Windows application. Information is presented that helps unlock the Windows box and thereby accelerate the development of USB-enabled embedded applications.
