Implementing Factory Automation and Industrial Panel Control with WinCE

There are two parts to this DevCon 2008 session. The presentation portion discusses the Windows CE 6.0 board support package (BSP) on a SuperH processor platform (an SH7763RDP board) and covers Windows CE configuration and the advanced features of the Windows CE system. The features and capabilities of the 266MHz superscalar SH7763 processor and its hardware platform are also described. A system design example shows how these products can be applied. In the follow-up lab session, Windows CE is brought up on the system and basic operations are described. Also, Internet browser operations and centralized factory control with sophisticated user interfaces are detailed. Attendees can gain hands-on experience with the hardware board and the Windows CE Development environment.
