Using Open-source TCP/IP Stacks

This hands-on comprehensive lab session utilizes the Ethernet peripherals that the popular H8S/2472 MCU provides. Detailed application information is presented about the on-chip Ethernet controller (EtherC) and Ethernet Direct Memory Access Controller (E-DMAC). Experiments provide insight into - and experience with - the µIP open-source TCP/IP stack and also illustrate the use of readily available system-development tools.
